Building Plots are claimable spaces with a boundary, a member list, an Item Builder, and save controls. They are not the same thing as the landmark houses already standing on the island.
Claim or join
Walk up to a plot and read the ownership display. If it is empty, use the claim prompt. If someone owns it, send a request instead of grabbing their furniture from outside.
Community documentation often describes five plots. Count the boundaries in your server rather than assuming the number is frozen. Community write-ups also describe grab and fling protection inside the border. Confirm that at the edge. Objects placed across the line are not guaranteed the same protection.
Agree on the session before anyone spawns a centerpiece. A house, an obstacle course, and a physics test need different clear paths. Leave a walking route and a staging area near the Item Builder.
Ranks
Community member lists use four ranks:
| Rank | Practical role |
|---|---|
| Owner | Controls the plot. Community notes associate save and load with the owner. |
| Co-Owner | Broader member management for someone you trust. |
| Member | Ordinary building access. |
| Requester | Waiting state, not a builder yet. |
Give Member to collaborators. Reserve Co-Owner for someone who must manage requests. Do not promote people for the label.
Item Builder and limits
Community descriptions of the Item Builder say it has themed pages and a trapdoor or lift that delivers the chosen object. Clear the output area, pick one item, and watch a full delivery before you stand on the opening.
Two limits are easy to mix up, and the official Raised Toys Limit text separates them: Your Toys goes from 100 to 200 with that pass, and the house limit stays 600. One member owning the pass does not raise the plot's 600 cap. Put unused personal toys away before you buy the pass to see whether 100 was actually the problem.
Saves
Save only after people stop moving pieces and you have walked the build. Loading replaces the current layout. If you do not know what a slot contains, do not test it over unsaved work. Read the erase confirmation in the live UI.
More House Saves (pass id 51538445) says it unlocks extra house save files. The description does not say how many. Infinite House Time (pass id 51538260) says you will not be removed from a house list only for staying away too long. You can still be removed if you claim a different house or become a Requester on another house. Neither pass is ownership of the map.
Landmark houses
Public structures described alongside the plots include a barn, a cabin-like house, and the factory. Community names for colored landmark homes include Pink House, Green House, Chinese House, and Blue House, with Blue described as the replacement for an older White House, plus a Poison House on the factory side. Those names are for navigation. Look for a plot boundary and a member list before you try to claim a landmark.
